Ohope Beach
Ohope is a small town in the Bay of Plenty region with a beautiful white sand beach on one side and the Ohiwa Harbour on the other. With 11 kilometres of easily walkable sand, Ohope Beach is one of the safest and most-loved beaches in New Zealand. Hidden Otarawairere Bay and the Ohiwa Harbour are popular places to explore by kayak, and the hills surrounding Ohope Beach are dotted with Maori pā sites.
